The Grounded Events Company Ltd
Welcome to the website of the Grounded Events Company Ltd (GEC). Established in June 2007 by Tim Hutchings and Tom Naylor, the company was formed with the intention of getting a Brighton Marathon off the ground and to initiate other running events identified as having commercial viability.
As we move towards the third Brighton Marathon, which is taking place on Sunday 15th April 2012, you will surely be aware that the previous two events were stunning successes and proof that a strong collaboration between an event organiser, a city council, and all crucial third parties – the emergency services, suppliers, volunteers and the runners themselves – can achieve great things in a short space of time.
